Schedule releases over the past few years have become a Highly anticipated project for fans to see not only when their team is playing, but also how the information is announced creatively by the digital departments. Los Angeles as a city, is the City of Dreamers, always culturally relevant and known it’s dynamic hustle mentality. The Los Angeles Sparks, are an organization known for their powerful dominance both on and off the court. For the 2020 season, one that kicks off the beginning to the future with a new CBA agreement, I wanted to take a creative approach that would engage with the younger audience and represent the powerful presence of the Sparks as an organization and the city as a whole. Using the introduction for HBO’s popular television show, Power, as inspiration I created a unexpected eye-catching video to disrupt the social media space and individually highlight when we play each team.
